National Distillers will participate from the 10th to the 14th of this month in the 2018 edition of the International Fair of Luanda, where it will demonstrate the process it uses to manufacture one of the most popular spirits amongst Angolan consumers.
Occupying an area of 72 square metres, the stand recreates the assembly line, from the delivery of the ingredients to the filling and, finally, the product packaging. Visitors will have the chance tosee inside one of the few spirits factories in Angola and taste the finished product.
The beverage industry has been recording are markable growth in the last 10 years, currently representing 4% of nationalGDP (INE — National Statistics Institute). With a strong potential to become the second driving force of the Angolan economy, after the oil industry, itemploys more than 14,000 Angolans, and National Distillers is an important player, holding around 50% of the market share.
With a strong export potential, based onthe model established in Angola, the company with 415 Angolan employees is focused on market diversification. It is currently studying the potential for exports to neighbouring countries such as DRC and Congo Brazzaville, among other markets.

Established in 2015 in an investment valued at more than 9 million dollars, National Distillers has a registered capital of 10,000,000 kwanzas. The general manager of National Distillers is Agata Russell. The company’s offices are located in Luanda, at Condomínio Cidade Financeira, Bloco 3 – Piso 4 – Fracção 402 e 404.
As a social partner of the Angolan state,the company adopted a Human Resources policy based on the creation of job opportunities for all young and responsible people who want to help Angola. It advocates equal opportunities and growth for all without forgetting support forthe most vulnerable groups, which is reflected in the fact that 80% of its workforce is made up of women.
As regards distribution, the company is proud to have already achieved a market share of more than 50% in Angola.
